Maharshi Sharma

Current Program: MS/PhD Mechanical Engineering

Brief Bio

I am working on dynamic modelling of an FFF 3D printer. Using the model, I plan to implement passive control elements in the printer to reduce printing errors without affecting speed. I worked for 2.5 years professionally before pursuing my Master’s degree. After graduating, I started my career in Suzuki Motors as an automobile enthusiast. I have a passion towards building machines and robots. I invented (Patent applied) a compact snow-melting and purification system. With an eagerness to give back to the society, I joined the Center of Rural Technology at IIT Guwahati. I enjoy transforming imaginations into reality, and I have been involved in projects from their inception, to designing, prototyping and testing. In my free time I like to travel, explore, drive, and cook.
